Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the HVAC Duct Experts website or booking our services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service or website.
About Our Services
HVAC Duct Experts provides professional duct cleaning, HVAC maintenance, and related services throughout the USA and Canada. Our services include, but are not limited to, air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, HVAC system inspection, and indoor air quality improvement.
Service Booking and Scheduling
Appointments
- All service appointments must be scheduled in advance
- We require at least an hour’s notice for appointment changes or cancellations
- Same-day cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee
- We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather conditions or emergencies.
Service Areas
- We provide services across the USA and Canada
- Service availability may vary by location
- Additional travel fees may apply for locations outside our standard service areas.
Pricing and Payment
Service Pricing
- All prices are quoted based on initial assessment and may vary depending on actual conditions
- Final pricing will be confirmed before work begins
- Additional services or complications may result in additional charges
Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of services only
- No upfront payments or deposits required
- We accept the following payment methods:
- Canada: Cash, E-Transfer (Interac e-Transfer), debit cards, and major credit cards
- USA: Cash, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, wire transfers, cashier’s checks, and major credit cards
- All payments must be made immediately upon service completion
- Returned checks or failed electronic transfers are subject to additional fees
Service Performance and Warranties
Our Commitment
- We guarantee professional workmanship and the use of industry-standard equipment.
- All work is performed by trained and experienced technicians
- We carry appropriate insurance coverage for our services
Limited Warranty
- We warrant our services for 90 days from the completion date
- Warranty covers workmanship issues, not normal wear and system deterioration
- Warranty is void if unauthorized modifications are made to the system
Customer Responsibilities
Property Access
- The customer must provide safe and reasonable access to work areas
- The customer is responsible for clearing obstacles and providing adequate workspace
- Customer must secure pets and ensure technician safety
System Information
- The customer should provide accurate information about the HVAC system’s age and previous maintenance.
- Customer is responsible for disclosing any known hazardous materials (asbestos, lead, etc.)
Liability and Insurance
Our Liability
- Our liability is limited to the cost of services provided
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or system defects
- We carry general liability insurance for covered incidents
Customer Responsibility
- Customer is responsible for personal property damage not caused by our negligence. The customer should verify our insurance coverage if required
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation by Customer
- 24+ hours notice: No cancellation fee
- Less than 24 hours’ notice: May be subject to $50 cancellation fee
- No-show appointments: Subject to full service charge
Refund Policy
- Refunds are provided only for services not rendered
- Partial refunds may be available for incomplete services due to our fault
- Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the service date
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from acts beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, labor disputes, or other unforeseeable circumstances.
Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where services are performed.
- For US customers: Disputes subject to local state laws
- For Canadian customers: Disputes subject to provincial laws
Resolution Process
- We encourage direct communication to resolve any issues
- Mediation may be required before legal action
- Customer agrees to reasonable attempts at dispute resolution
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall HVAC Duct Experts be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services.
Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of HVAC Duct Experts and protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws.
Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Severability
